Inspiration

7Play is a series of interactive games connected to the TV programs and a WhatsApp bot which helps you get the latest updates for soccer games and tipps where to watch them.

What it does

The app offers you to chose one of the TV programs which are live right now and play interactive games tailored to the program content. An example is the show "Germany's next top model". Users can play bingo game to cross out the common buzzwords happening in the show. Another example is soccer games where the app tracks the course of the game and asks questions where you can bet on specific events ("Will there be a goal in this dangerous situation? Is there gonna be a red card for one of the players after foul?") Each player can see their stats and guess rate. If they have logged in with Facebook, they can also see how many of their friends agreed with them.

What's the business model?

The app will have an effect on user engagement which will improve user loyalty. In the second lauch phase, we will identify power users watching the same programs every time and offer them to participate in the loyalty program. Users which have the best results in a series of games will get rewards by advertising customers through merchandising. Everyone is happy: Users can watch their favorite shows and get rewards, Pro7 gets more user engagement and a new revenue stream through merchandising and advertising customers get more attention and promotion for their products.
