Inspiration
A family member of a student I teach is heavily involved in the blockchain industry. He inspired the team about blockchain and bitcoin management. Another inspiration is that this is a new thing for all of us despite being in the programming field for a long time. It is also the first time some of us uses laravel. This is a risk, however it is also an opportunity to gain experience in a hackathon and in blockchain
What it does
A user can register one company and each companies can be seen in the company list. The company details such as the name and email can be seen in the company list. If a user is already registered to a company, they cannot register another company. However, they can update the fields of their company or delete it. This ensures communication between companies through our website
How we built it
The base is done using laravel. The default javascript files are not modified. Controllers are made for the logical parts of the website
Challenges we ran into
- We don't know much about blockchain. We heard about it, but we don't know how to implement it into coding
- We are not sure about incorporating bitcoin wallet into coding
