Inspiration
When we were trying to connect games with education, the first thing that we think of is Hangman. Hangman is a traditional game that many people have played since elementary school. I remember myself learning different vocabularies while playing the game in class. So we decided to recreate this game with 4 major subjects in school and hope this will be entertaining and educational for students.
What it does
This is a game that practices your vocabulary and entertains you at the same time. This game diminishes your boredom while studying. We separate the game into 4 categories with 4 different subjects. The 4 different categories include: math, history, science, and sat vocabularies.
How we built it
Using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
Challenges we ran into
We had originally started with python however, it didn't work out. We created about 3 to 4 replits and it ended with different unsolved problems. We were trying to figure out a method to solve the problem, but unfortunately, it wasn't solved. While fixing the codes we thought of a new idea which is what we currently have. So we changed to HTML, CSS, and javascript, and it turns out the way that we wanted it to be.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got it done. Finishing this project might not be very difficult for many other students that are already used to different languages, but our team is full of beginners, so we are accomplished with what we have.
What we learned
We learn to use and connect HTML, Javascript, and CSS all together.
What's next for Asian Hackers
We are going to continue to work hard and advance further in computer science.
