Let's imagine that you are an LLM and Conversational AI Developer, that wants to integrate the SMS interface to connect with your users, but you don't have many experience on integrating messaging services infrastructure and you still want to reach this users.

What it does

OfflineGPT connects Conversational AI models with Billions of SMS Users by allowing LLM products to instantly integrate with SMS in order to reach an extra 2.9 billion SMS users.

How it works?

  • 1-Instant SMS Phone Number: We enable Conversational AI and LLM developers/small businesses to instantly generate an SMS Phone number. This unique number will act as the primary point of interaction between the user and the AI model. In a few steps, our framework will allow your LLM product to be accessible to all SMS users.

  • 2- Share Access to the SMS Chatbot: Developers can create for their clients the obtained SMS Phone number with their customers, giving them direct access to their LLM product. This process brings your AI capabilities directly to the SMS inbox of customers.

How we built it

We develop a communicate middleware layer that allows people to text to a SMS number to trigger an API call to your model, and then stream the response back to the user via SM

What I learned

The key benefit for conversational AI companies is massive scalability - going from limited niche users to potentially reaching billions of mainstream SMS users. OfflineGPT handles all the complex infrastructure and carrier connections, allowing conversational AI companies to focus on building better models.

What's next for AI SMS

  • Solana Wallet Integration - Allow users to send and receive SOL and other Solana-based tokens via SMS. This feature would be especially useful for people living in areas with limited internet access or poor connectivity.

  • Scheduled Messaging - Allow users to schedule SMS messages to be sent at a later time or date. This feature would be useful for sending reminders or greetings in advance.

  • Integrate in our platform Messaging Apps, such as Whatsapp, Messenger or Telegram.
