What it does

You become a bird.

How we built it

The project was built in Unity using a Quest 3.

Challenges we ran into

Our headset cable was finicky in the beginning, and so the project as a whole was difficult to test. Later, the cable stopped working entirely, and no replacements were available, so a significant time was spent trying to fix the headset. This also meant a lot of systems were unable to be tested.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A custom linear interpolation, a very realistic plane physics script (our original game that we were unable to make due to the hardware malfunctions), and a great modular terrain system.

What we learned

We learned a lot about the unity terrain system and the math behind plane physics.

What's next for Bird Simulator

We are going to continue to use the terrain system we created in other games, and we might come back and repair/repolish this one.
