Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that will help people discover new food options in the university.

What it does

It stores a collection of food items as well as information about the items such as price, calories and so on.

How I built it

We used cvs files to store the information that we collected by surveying all of the restaurants in MacEwan Student Center.

Challenges I ran into

While surveying the restaurants, we had a hard time getting the information that we needed. We also had difficulty categorizing so many food items and finding ways to sort them.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Despite the lack of information, we were able to organize the data that we had into a user friendly layout.

What I learned

Since every restaurant have a different kinds of menu, it was difficult to add them into one menu. We gained experience in various stages of app development.
