Inspiration

Inspired by the vast potential of EEG technology, we set out to redefine the gaming experience. While EEGs are typically used for binary and focus-related applications, we were curious about translating this into a dynamic real-world scenario: car racing.

What it does

Imagine a car racing game where your focus drives the outcome. Players' brain waves, captured using the Neurosity EEG headset, control the race cars. The more focused a player is, the better control they have over their car, making it a battle of minds.

How we built it

We embarked on this journey using the Neurosity EEG headset. Capturing real-time brain wave data, we created an algorithm to determine a player's focus level. Integrating this with our game's mechanics, we've unveiled a new horizon where brain-power truly matters.

Challenges we ran into

Integrating the EEG data with game mechanics presented unique challenges, such as calibrating accurate focus levels and ensuring seamless gameplay. Working with different servers and customizing databases that were open-source for the purposes of our project.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through countless hours of testing and refining, we developed a responsive system that has transformed a traditionally binary use-case into an interactive gaming experience.

What we learned

Through countless hours of testing and refining, we developed a responsive system that has transformed a traditionally binary use-case into an interactive gaming experience. We also came across different applications of using the data extracted from EEG devices.

What's next for Brain Battle

Exploring further immersive experiences and fine-tuning gameplay based on user feedback, ensuring an even more exciting brain-powered race in the future.
