Capadoccia

Inspiration

Some 10 years ago I visited Cappadocia, a beautiful place in Central Anatolia, they had these hot air balloons that you could take during sunrise. Once you rise up above the "chimney rocks" and you look around you at the colorful balloons it really was bliss. I wanted to recreate the same feeling with a camera effect.

What it does

Effect places multiple colorful hot air balloons in the scene, randomly and and at slightly different angles so they look natural, plenty and colorful so as to give you that Cappadocia feeling.

How I built it

I used spark ar, which was very easy to get started

Challenges I ran into

I wanted to randomly change the balloons directions and swing them, as it is the case with real ones, but I found some limitations that prevent doing this for each balloon.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

It works and it gives that great feeling.
