Inspiration
When debugging coders usually can get stuck on a bug and because of frustration and stress coders can find themselves debugging the bug less efficiently, that's where our idea comes handy.
What it does
Allows coders to come to a place when they're stuck or stressed to listen to music and go over steps and actions to do. It serves as a rock/foundation for them to come back to whenever they need.
How we built it
Due to the short time span, we used a HTML template and customized it adding features to the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to personalize it for Coditate.
Challenges we ran into
The largest hurdle was coming up with an idea for the hackathon.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The page itself is quite visually appealing and the home page with its audio works great.
What we learned
Polished skills in web development and group work.
What's next for Coditate
Add more functionality like timers, and eventually down the road, an API connected to a chatbot. Or, add a database and backend functionality for users to note down their issues/how they felt afterwards. Also, functionality such as the website automatically sensing the pause in coding and alert the coder in set time to meditate to decrease stress and increase productivity.
