Inspiration
We know a family that has a child with learning challenges, and wanted to provide accessible learning resources to her, as well as many other students in a similar situation, during and after the COVID-19 Pandemic.
What it does
CoLinkEd is a platform that actively connects students with learning challenges with instructors with specializations through building databases of certified instructors.
How we built it
We used repl.it to create the website, database, and service.
Challenges we ran into
It was our first time doing a hackathon and first time learning web development.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built a functioning website from scratch without any prior web development experience.
What we learned
A lot of HTML, CSS and Javascript basics.
What's next for CoLinkEd
In the future, we hope to polish the website and fully integrate CoLinkEd as a functioning component of online education worldwide.
