Inspiration

Our generation today wants to work for companies that provide much more than just compensation. We as a collective want to work for companies that support the causes we believe in.

What it does

We aim to provide a platform that connects savvy users with cause-based companies. Our vision is to bring like-minded people to small, mission-based businesses.

How we built it

We built this platform with a combination of flutter, custom OAuth, and ESG-based data sets.

Challenges we ran into

Using custom data sets to gain insights was something new for our group and we had a fun time sifting through the code to get it working. Also, for a lot of us, it was the first time pulling off an all-nighter.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of our UI/UX. We attended a workshop yesterday that helped us understand what it takes to create a good user-centered application. We brought a lot of such elements to our application.

What we learned

We learned a lot about gaining insights from Data sets. This was our first time using data sets to extract information, so we were excited to explore the realm.

What's next for Combl.

We want to potentially partner with a bigger firm to get access to more companies and users so we can take our mission of connecting people with businesses that support their values further.
