Inspiration
Our hackathon draws its inspiration from the sheer exhaustion of mere existence during this event. The vibrant purple of our t-shirts was clearly the pinnacle of our design prowess, and our remarkable lack of coding expertise has contributed to the masterpiece you see before you.
What it does
After a marathon of a whopping 36 hours spent trying things out, we've astonishingly managed to emerge with absolutely nothing by way of an answer. Clearly, our collective genius knows no bounds. But it represents the experience we had along the way. The workshops, the friendships we created, the things we learned, all amounted into this.
How we built it
At the 35th hour of our time in the Engineering Quad, after several attempted projects that we were unable to fulfill due to timeless debugging, lack of experience, and failed partnerships, we realized we had to .
Challenges we ran into
We had difficulty implementing the color-changing background using CSS, but managed to figure it out. We originally used Bootstrap Studio 5 as our visual website builder, but we got too confused on how to use it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
As a first time in-person hacker and first time ever hacker, we are both very proud that we got to meet a lot of great people and take advantage of our experience at the hackathon. We are also incredibly proud that we have SOMETHING to submit.
What we learned
We learned that the software developer industry is one that is extremely competitive in today's market, having a referral is essential to stick out, and taking the extra step when it comes to researching companies is also essential.
