This game is a isometric 2d resource collector, where you have a minute to collect resources. You then go back to your house to craft the items that you obtained into better items to sell at market.
Inspiration: The theme was "away from home" which led me to thinking about running errands while away from your house.
What it does: It is a video game that is an isometric 2d game where you gather resources, craft them into more complex items, and sell them at the market.
How we built it: This project was made using Unity, which uses C# as the programming language. All of the sprites for the game were made in GIMP.
Challenges we ran into: Most of the challenges that I ran into were lack of sleep and time management challenges.
Accomplishments that we're proud of: I am proud that I finally finished a project in the time constraints of a hackathon/game jam.
What we learned: I learned how to set reasonable expectations for myself in an allotted time period.
What's next for Crafting Away: I may make some updates to the game if I want to continue working on it in the future. I would love to update the sprites and make some parts of the game easier to follow.
