Inspiration: Wanted to help keep people out of the way of crime since HPD recently released police data.
How it works: Uses a special algorithm and past data to predict a chance of crime being committed at a place and time.
Challenges I ran into: Configures all the different elements together.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of: The fairly accurate algorithm and predictions.
What I learned: A lot about JavaScript and JavaScript based languages.
What's next for Crime Predictor: To predict crime in various other cities and improve the algorithm to be even more accurate.
