Inspiration
"CyberCation" was inspired by the growing need to educate people about online safety in an increasingly digital world. We aimed to create a platform that makes learning about cybersecurity engaging and accessible for all ages.
What it does
Our website provides users with the ability to view tips, and educational resources and even try two interactive simulations on cyber security.
How we built it
We built "CyberCation" using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to create a responsive and interactive website.
Challenges we ran into
A challenge we ran into was making the website have the same layout on different screens as we discovered that often times certain features of our website looked different on different screens. We also had some trouble making the interactive portions of our website as they involved JavaScript.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of the CSS for our website. We are also proud of how the interactive simulation works!
What we learned
We learned a lot more about Javascript as the interactive portions of our website required JavaScript.
What's next for CyberCation
Next, we plan to expand our content, add advanced interactive features, optimize for mobile use, and develop a community forum.
