Inspiration
The inspiration behind Daedalus was patient-focused healthcare. There are a lot of logistical and overhead problems in our current health industry.
What it does
Daedalus is a patient, doctor, and provider portal that connects users in a single network. Daedalus also supports multiple features such as scheduling, viewing patient info, and uses blockchain for security and data exchange.
How we built it
We used Angular as a framework for HTML/CSS/JS.
Challenges we ran into
Implementation of Payfone, deployment for blockchain (what users should participate as nodes)
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Overall UI design, skeletal blockchain infrastructure implemented.
What we learned
How to implement blockchain, UI/UX design practices (ex. colorblind compliance), Payfone integration, webhook and API calls, working with new framework, time management
What's next for Daedalus
We want to continue improving on security integrations. Along with that, we want to fully develop the Blockchain network and eventually deploy it. We also need to implement fully fleshed out features for the dashboard.
