Inspiration
Police Brutality has been a problem for a while in the US, and one of the main reasons the issues are suppressed is due to a lack of video evidence. With De-Escal8or, we hope to be able to detect such cases and immediately notify authorities of the misconduct, in order to keep officers and civilians under check.
What it does
De-Escal8or uses a variety of techniques to detect potentially hostile situations for police officers and suspects. It is intended to work as, or supplement a body cam, and uses Face detection, expression detection, audio analysis, and prose detection to comprehensively analyze a situation and determine if it is hostile or not.
