We wanted to create an AI posing as a minion that takes over the world but has a humorous spin on it and the story of "Monkey's Paw" came into mind which ended up being our inspiration.
Interface where a user (evil master) can ask the minion to complete certain objectives and eventually take over the world but you have to be specific or it can end up doing something completely wrong.
We built it using AI to interpret user inputs and score it if its to vague or specific and based off of that give a response.
The team had minimal experience in coding or incorporating AI into code and it ended up taking a lot of our time to be able to learn and apply new information.
The whole team working together and efficiently work on different aspects of the projects even though everything was new and none of us were cs majors with no previous hackathon experience
We learned that training API is not easy as it looks and just the interface can be really time consuming
A better looking interface and responses from the minion that are more accurately catered to the responses we wanted it to give
