Inspiration: Interested in tracking the promotion of U.S. values through the opening and closures of U.S. Embassies

What it does: Allows visitors to examine significant points in U.S. Embassy histories and explore potential correlations with various indicators.

How we built it: We used open datasets and used the data visualization tool “Flourish” to demonstrate the value of U.S. diplomacy.

Challenges we ran into: Limited historical datasets; Limitations of Flourish

Accomplishments that we're proud of: demonstrating potential trends and how they correlate to U.S. Embassy presence in each country.

What we learned: That U.S. diplomacy is important!
