Just three friends having fun

What it does

Compares the number of followers/following, number of posts and number of likes on the most recent post of your account and the target profile's account.

How I built it

We used instagram's api and a webscraper to collect the necessary data and processed it in python.

Challenges I ran into

We originally were using js to collect the data and we had an issue of communicating between our js and python code.

This is our first hackathon

What's next for DM'er

  • Being able to integrate directly with the instagram app
  • A certain amount of time after making a post, DM'er will give you a list of all the accounts that have a higher than X% chance of replying to your DM.
