As students, we inevitably miss class and don't have time to catch up and watch all the lectures. What if we had a website that transcribed and summarized any lecture with its respective keywords? Our tool, dope-notes, allows you to upload YouTube links to our website and then get a transcript of the subtitles with the keywords at the top. In additional, we created a tool that gives you supplemental information (from Khan Academy, Stack Overflow, Wikipedia, etc.) related to your lecture. Another tool that we will have on our website is a "community hub", where you can share your own notes with other people in the class and notes can be upvoted or downvoted depending on the quality of the notes. Our goal is to provide a platform where lectures and videos are more accessible to students.
