Over 200,000 people in the US have epilepsy. Major issue: Nocturnal seizures often go undetected and can cause sudden unexpected death in epilepsy (SUDEP)
What it does
Monitor and track seizures for individuals with Epilepsy. Notify caregiver(s) when a seizure occurs for assistance
How we built it
From EMG (Electromyography) sensor data via bluetooth, the app uses Myo's SDK to translate the data into an accelerometer graph. The app identifies seizure patterns and uses twilio to send notifications to listed caregiver(s)
