Inspiration
From our economics course, we learned about the negative production externality of farming produce and the negative affects on the environment. With this, we decided to tackle the Sustainable Development Goal 15: Life on Land.
What it does
exSeed is an app designed to help farmers make smart farming decisions to improve the environment and their own long-term financial health.
How we built it
Programmed in Dart and made with Google's Flutter and Firebase for the cloud syncing.
Challenges we ran into
Setting up Firebase had a few challenges, additionally, this was the first time most of our members used Flutter so we had to learn it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Got a working product that does stuff, good logo as well.
What we learned
How to use Dart, Flutter, Git, and numerous SDKs.
