Inspiration

The inspiration for Fantickets came from the challenges and inefficiencies associated with traditional event ticketing systems. Traditional ticketing systems often involve middlemen, such as ticket brokers, who may charge high fees and limit access to tickets for popular events. Additionally, traditional ticketing systems may be prone to fraud and counterfeiting, which can lead to frustrated customers and lost revenue for event organizers.

What it does

Fantickets is a decentralized events platform that leverages the power of the Fantom blockchain to provide users with fast, secure, and reliable access to events. The platform aims to eliminate the inefficiencies and barriers associated with traditional event ticketing systems by offering a decentralized, transparent, and user-friendly solution. Using the Fantom blockchain, Fantickets can offer a secure and tamper-proof ticketing system that ensures the authenticity of event tickets. The platform also enables event organizers to have more control over their events, from ticket pricing to event management. In addition to its security features, Fantickets offers a user-friendly interface that makes it easy for users to browse, purchase, and manage their event tickets. The platform also offers real-time updates on event details and enables users to transfer or resell their tickets with ease.

How we built it

We used a factory contract to create multiple instances of events so the owner can manage their event as they want providing the with flexibilty and an easy way to create new events

What's next for Fantickets

We aim to launch the marketplace in the near future providing ticket owners and event organizers with an easy way to trade their tickets and earn royalties in the process.
