Inspiration

Many people die every year from automative accidents due to drowsiness, sleeping, and medical conditions (ex. seizures, heart attacks, etc)

What it does

Using computer vision, we are able to see if someone is dosing off, texting while driving, or not focused on the road for whatever reason. It alerts drivers in these cases and if the driver doesn't respond "self-driving" mode is activated to prevent damage.

How we built it

Red Bull, Python, OpenCV.

Challenges we ran into

Installing the stupid but beautiful library known as OpenCV. Learning the basics of machine learning/ object detection.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Actually useful product .

What we learned

Too much.

What's next for Farchie

Market the product to Tesla.
