Inspiration

inspiration came from me challenging myself as a creator to develop a game that could be played in five minutes or less, a space where people of all ages—young and old, families and friends—could come together, create bonds, and encourage each other to play and have fun.

### What It Does Players compete to be the first to fill their tube with ten colored balls before their opponents. -Each player has seven seconds to jump into an available tube that propels them upward, dropping them onto random color platforms. -Upon landing, five color balls appear, and each players get ONE hit or walk into a ball to recycle it.

  • If a player’s color ball doesn’t appear, they must hit a different ball to continue.
  • The best strategy is to target a tube with fewer balls already in it. The first player to stack ten balls will spawn on the winner’s platform.

How we built it

This world was made using primitive shapes, code blocks, and spawning mechanics for a dynamic and interactive gameplay experience.

Challenges we ran into

Day of submission considering only having pretty much 12 hours to complete, publishing was an issue for hours. I could not publish the world to do testing, I was down at the wire when I finally was able to do testing..15 minutes to submit everything then.. I had an issue with the online submission. Multiple retrying to get the world together I guess it kicked out the mobile settings.

Accomplishments that we're proud of.

I take great pride in my determination to continue working on this project, despite the numerous challenges that threatened its completion. The experience taught me resilience, and I am proud to have finished the project even when it seemed like it might not happen.

What We Learned

The most important lesson that I already know is persistence is the key. As long as you don’t give up and follow through on your goals, you can overcome obstacles. I also learned the value of learning from others who are willing to help you grow. Communication is essential, and I now recognize that having more time is always better than having no time.

What's next for Full it UP

Looking ahead, I plan to refine the game further. Although I had to adjust my original scripting ideas due to time and last-minute issues, I genuinely love the new concept and the fun gameplay it offers. My vision is to create a space where people can truly enjoy themselves. To build on this world’s potential, I will collaborate with my team to introduce different challenges and levels, transforming "Fill It Up" into an even more engaging experience. FILL IT UP! stay tuned

the instructions on the window to the game I did not put that each player getting ONE hit regardless of how many your color balls you see .. (Don't want anybody getting confused seeing three balls of their colors and then they're trying to hit them all).

On day of submission I had issues with publish in the world and multiple times it would not let me put the tags and close me 4 hours of time to test it in a published world.. I attempted to restore thinking it was some issue I did that four times and had to read a lot of things it was down to the wire.. as I finally got things working I finally published and forgot to turn on the mobile.
