A fun game with robots!
What it does
Android controlled robot that plays beer pong.
How we built it
ROS ( robot operating system ), a publisher- subscriber framework was used to have an Android app control the robot, running off an Arduino Uno.
Challenges I ran into
Many, many, hardware failures.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
So many people and pieces or tech working together.
What I learned
I used ROS for the first time last night. Definitely a learning experience for all of us.
What's next for GearPong
Where are integrating computer vision to have an unbiased robot referee to keep score.
