Inspiration
Wanting to do a hardware hack.
What it does
Lets you capture a ghost by using a hardware device called the ghost box. A website is used to scan for a ghost in the local area, giving a brief description of the ghost it finds. You must move the ghost box to the location of the ghost and stay there for a short period of time. There is then a short window to press a button to catpure a ghost, being given a capture code that can be entered into a website to capture the ghost.
How we built it
Using Raspberry Pi Pico's for the hardware device and Flask for the website interface.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the hardware to work, as there were lots of interconnected parts all working together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The hardware working semi-consistently.
What we learned
How to use a webserver to communicate with hardware, and more about how to program hardware.
