Inspiration

We wanted to build a website that encouraged people to both take care of themselves and our planet. Our work will hopefully both improve the environment but also encourage people to reevaluate their budget and what they're capable of doing.

What it does

Our website has a budget form that allows a user to enter their personal information including salary, city and spending to determine the best green choices that fit their budget.

How we built it

We worked together to use pseudo code to draw out our original idea for the app than working through the javascript, html, apis and css to create a website that we're very proud of.

Challenges we ran into

Lots of issues with javascript and integrating the front and back end.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Everything, we're all pretty new to Javascript and frontend so being so successful with this website is a huge accomplishment for all of us.

What's next for Green4Green

Adding more resources to access green and low waste solutions, expanding past major cities, etc.
