Inspiration
As the petitions or general channel in the Slack pile up with requests from hackers, we, as organisers need a better way to handle this.
What it does
Registered hackers can take pictures and/or add comments of things happening on the venue, from filled up bins to harassment if detected. Organisers will then be able to check all those automatically being tagged both the comments and the images by Microsoft API. Moreover, all users also have a language associated with them and the requests will get automatically translated to their language so anyone can read it. This feature also uses Microsoft API, in particular the translation engine.
How we built it
The backend is coded in Django while the frontend has a desktop site made with React and the mobile version VueJS. Django framework authentication is used along with Microsoft API for both image recognition, description tagging and text translation.
Challenges we ran into
At first we wanted to create a VR game but the mobile engine wasn't working as we expected so after using most of our time on that we moved to this simpler project.

What's next for Hack Review
The project could be integrated into some hackathon management system in order to permit hackers an easy-access not to mention login with MLH for example or directly from Slack.
