Inspiration

We drew inspiration from Kalshi, a real-world prediction market that uses collective intelligence to forecast events. We saw a similar gap in hackathons — VCs and scouts rarely know which teams will succeed after the event. There’s no early signal for traction, hype, or potential.

HackArena changes that. By applying predictive-market mechanics to hackathons, we let anyone — from spectators to investors — “back” teams they believe in using crypto-backed tokens. The result? A transparent, data-driven market for early-stage innovation — where VCs can spot high-potential founders before anyone else, and hackathons become living, investable ecosystems.

What It Does

HackArena is a live predictive-market platform for hackathons — think ESPN meets Web3.

Each hackathon team becomes its own tradable market. Spectators, VCs, and participants use Ethereum-backed tokens to place predictions on which projects will thrive after the event. Prices fluctuate dynamically based on demand, creating a crowdsourced confidence index for every team.

Back teams you believe in.

Watch prices move in real-time.

Win rewards when your predictions are right.

For organizers and VCs, this becomes a live dashboard of innovation sentiment — a quantitative signal of which ideas have momentum before the pitch deck lands in your inbox.
