8Byt™ is a website where users all around the world can exchange ideas through the medium of sound. Simply get a sound file, upload it to 8Byt™, and sit back and let the information flow. It's that easy! Your file is transferred into an advanced database that can distribute that file to anyone else over the internet! Anyone who visits 8Byt™'s website can hear your audio file, among those posted by others around the world. Never before has humanity been as connected as they are now, with 8Byt™!
Why take the time to read a post or watch a video when you can just listen? Upload your favourite quote, a cool sound effect, or a catchy tune. There's no limit to what you can accomplish with 8Byt™!
But wait! There's more! Not only does 8Byt™ share sound files with the entire world, but every sound file uploaded to 8Byt™ is given a unique URL, such that sound files can be easily shared with specific people. Wow! You'll never have to talk to people again!

On a technical level, 8Byt is a React app build on a PostgresSQL database. It's designed to be highly scalable and easy to use in a similar case to imgur.
