Hacksy

You know that feeling? The hackathon has started, the coffee is brewing, and you’re staring at a blank screen. Your team is buzzing with talent, but the single biggest question looms over you: What on earth should we build? We've been there. So many times. It was during one of those "idea paralysis" moments that we had our spark. At its heart, Hacksy is the hackathon teammate we always wished we had. It’s an AI agent you can talk to. You start by giving it your GitHub profile. Its brain, powered by Google's Gemini, actually identifies your skills, your projects, and your interests to figure out what you're good at and what you love to build.

Challenges faced:

• We wanted to extract various hackathons and suggest to user but the hackathon platforms have dynamic content and anti-scraping measures. This is one of our future work.
• Getting structured, consistent outputs from LLMs for UI rendering: We implemented detailed prompt engineering with specific format requirements and fallback parsing
• Rate Limiting & API Management from LLMs
