we used the IONIC framework http://ionicframework.com/
Challenges I ran into
the team had never used IONIC, so there was a step learning curve
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
the team came 3rd in the hack with this
What I learned
start with a framework/language everyone knows, rather than try to learn on the fly
What's next for HotSpot Explorer
replace the API uses from cartodb with the new release API https://dev.telstra.com/content/wifi-api
