Automatically create reminders about upcoming events from the pictures you click of the event's posters.
How it works
Eventup automatically extracts information from images. You simple have to take a picture of a poster and the event will be created on your calendar with the correct date, time and venue of the event.
Challenges I ran into
OCR API integration was a bit trivial.
What's next for Eventup
- Automatically notify event managers/organizers as to from where they're getting the most engagement through their posters via location, foot falls, registrations, conversions, etc.
- API for developers. Yes! Developers can hook into our application to build dashboards, custom analytical solutions, notification end-points, etc.
