Common sense is not always common, as there are a number of common objects people do not actually have much knowledge about. It would be very convenient to be able to take an image of something encountered in every day life, and to have a small description giving general information to help people out.
The identification app was made using python and google cloud platforming. An image is put into the program, and it uses google's identification features to display general features and information about what the app identifies it as.
