Inspiration - People are so busy these days, they don't have time to go through the entire newspaper articles. Sometimes texts in the textbooks get so boring and confusing that students lose interest. Did you ever wish there could be something that could create a visual representation of your math/physics problem? Well, I did and we did. So, here we are, inspired and motivated.
What it does - So, we decided to create an app that converts text data into pics and creates a comic which can convey the entire story in the article.
How we built it - We used JavaScript to implement the Microsoft cognitive API that narrows down the key phrases from the text/article and then the bing image search API finds relevant pics.
Challenges we ran into - Implementing the API was the biggest challenge. We had very limited experience with JavaScript.
Accomplishments that we're proud of - We successfully implemented the API which was fun and we also learnt a hell lot of things in 20 hrs
