We've developed a project using Prompt #4: Visualize Factors Related to Refugee Rates

Goal: Build a visualization that enables users to explore the relationship between environmental, social, and diplomatic factors and asylum requests.

Context: Many factors play into the decision to leave one's country. Are there any patterns or events that are clearly related to spikes or declines in asylum requests, or relationships that are unexpected?

Data: UNHCR Population Statistics Database, conflict events data, water stress, freedom index, governance indicators, famine, poverty rates, etc.
