Inspiration

Is the value we hold of friends and family of all ages.

What it does

It allows a person to send out an emergency text with a link to a google map that pin points their location. In addition, the emergency services uses your location to show you the nearest medical services.

How I built it

We used IBM BlueMix's ASP.NET 5 runtime, and integrated Google Maps and Twilio's APIs.

Challenges I ran into

Learning to work in BlueMix environment and getting Geo-locations for google maps to use.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

That I learned how to work with Blue Mix in a short amount of time with their streamlined deployment.

What I learned

I learned how to use Twilo's Web API

What's next for In Case Of

Taking and expanding In Case Of to a mobile platform.
