Inspiration

Negativity and hate is rampant online, this extension is there to reduce that and replace it with positivity.

What it does

Redirects blacklisted links (community submitted and mod approved) and redirects it to a random r/Wholesomememe link. Censors certain trigger words.

How I built it

Chrome apis.

First extension and javascript application made ever by me, so it's rough.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Only used knowledge I learned at the even from workshops and self taught lessons.

What's next for InExIn

To create a forum or chat for people who are sensitive to the blocked content to talk to one another to get help. Separate lists of blocked content aka: block politics only, block racism only, etc.
