Inspiration

As a sophomore navigating the internship application process, I recognized the importance of interview preparation. This realization drove me to develop a platform that not only serves my preparation needs but that could also serve countless others in their interview journeys.

What it does

My platform delivers randomized interview questions, enabling users to consistently practice and refine their responses.

How we built it

The platform is created primarily using Java. To streamline the development process and integrate some features, I employed the Spring Boot framework. For the user interface, Bootstrap was the go-to choice, allowing for responsive and modern design elements. Throughout the development process, I did a lot of testing to build and ascertain the platform's reliability.

Challenges we ran into

Navigating Spring Boot for the first time posed some challenges, these became invaluable learning experiences, enriching my understanding of the framework.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Successfully crafting a platform from scratch that can aid others in interview preparation is a significant achievement for myself. Navigating the complexities of Spring Boot as a first-timer and integrating it with Java was both challenging and rewarding. Today, I stand with a functional platform that doesn't just serve its purpose but also showcases the potential of combining various technologies for a meaningful cause.

What we learned

My journey with this project provided many insights into Spring Boot and related technologies.

What's next for Interview Practice

Looking ahead, I'm eager to expand the platform's capabilities. Plans are already in motion to integrate an AI-driven reader, enhancing accessibility and simulating a more realistic interview setting. For those in the CS domain, I am also keen on incorporating a feature to practice technical coding problems.
