Technologies used:

• Wit.ai Windows 10's built in speech to text

The VR app in Unity communicates via a Python websocket intermediary running on Oracle Cloud to the Arduino, which uses an IMU module to determine how intensely it's been shaken in the time your handshake is being evaluated.

Then, your voice is recognized using the Oculus VR Voice SDK, which uses your computer's built in speech processing technology to transcribe your words. The text is then sent to a Flask API which is itself a wrapper for the Cohere API and then Cohere's NLP magic tells us if it's a good answer, a bad answer, or completely irrelevant. The Cohere classifier is trained on a custom dataset that we generated with the help of ChatGPT.
