An app that brings many electric vehicle-related needs to one easy place!

Inspiration

We wanted to create an app that consolidated information about many car-related needs. From information about their own past driving to the location of the closest charging station for electric vehicles, users can access lots of information in one easy place.

What It Does

Our app introduces simple, user-friendly interfaces that can be used by all vehicle owners to get a better idea of the quality of their driving. For electric vehicle owners, in particular, our app offers easy access and navigation to the nearest charging station and the ability to pay for charging costs in advance.

Challenges

We were previously unfamiliar with the technologies that we used for this project, so we spent quite an extensive amount of time learning how to use them. We were not able to incorporate as many features as we would have liked, but we hope to expand on this project after the hackathon!

Future Goals

In the future, we hope to implement family-oriented features, such as ensuring that information like location and battery percentage (for EVs) is shared among members of an inner network of vehicles. We also hope that the driving reports can help insurance agencies measure their customers' insurance prices based on driving performance stats.
