Inspiration

One of our team members, Alison, taught kids ages 7 - 12 over this past summer for LEGO robotics via Zoom. The kids were interested in the LEGO robotics but as summer wore on, they were losing interest. From the teachers’ perspectives, it was clear that they really were just looking to talk to other kids their age. At home, parents were busy with their jobs so couldn’t keep their kids company or help them with their work much. Kids loved to talk about games and exchange their usernames so they could be friends on various online game platforms

What it does

With kids having to take class from home, they’re deprived of the opportunity to develop the soft skills most of us were able to discover playing and interacting with other kids at school. This gives them an alternative way to stay connected and interact with their friends in a way that other accessible platforms don’t offer.
