Inspiration

Painting and drawing are activities that improve your emotional growth, relieve stress, promotes an Optimistic Attitude, strengths memory and increase creativity. And this is all in a Velo Wix Game, so you don't need to worry about increase environmental pollution when buying drawing materials

What it does

It is a Painting game with the next functions: Color change, pointer size, undo button and clear all button.

How we built it

By using on Velo Wix platform wixEvents and wixWindow to embed HTML custom code with the html/CSS/JavaScript Drawing Game. And decorated with Wix Velo Decorative Elements.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge I had was having to adapt to a development platform that uses plain Javascript in a way I wasn't used to. It was also difficult to adapt my idea to a platform with different rules than the ones I am used to.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Although I didn't manage to make the project as I expected and with more APIs, I am happy to have found an alternative way to make a functional game.

What we learned

I learned to use embed HTML, to send post message and make the HTML code works in Velo Wix. Also learn more about this Velo and how to work out of the box and how to work outside the box in a limited environment.

What's next for Little Painter

I hope to add more functionalities, like different types of brush, save color selections, and add default images such as circle, square, triangle, star, etc.
