Inspiration

The Open Data Census tracks progress on releasing open data. But who’s tracking what people are doing with open data? Well, a bunch of folks are, but it’s all over the place. Even in San Francisco, we have a local showcase, but it’s in dire need of an overhaul.

How it works

"Made with Open Data" provides:

1. A single place to show off, explore, inspire, and demonstrate the benefits of open data, and
2. Gives local open data programs, with little technical resources, a simple to configure local showcase.

What's next for Made with Open Data

We'll work to complete phase one of the demo and then shop it around with funders and foundations that support open data.
