Inspiration
Random Idea we came across while brainstorming and Valentine's Day is near.
What it does
It's a game where you as the player, play as the boyfriend and your goal is to throw gifts at your girlfriend. Along the way you encounter thieving crows, and not so great gift choices. Basically, it's a simple, lovely little Valentine's Day game.
How we built it
We built it in Python using primarily pygame. The graphics were drawn in Procreate using an iPad.
Challenges we ran into
1) Had a very difficult time programming the walking "animation" of the girlfriend. 2) Stay awake for more than 24 hours
Accomplishments that we're proud of
1) We didn't fall asleep 2) First time doing a long chain "animated" sprite 3) Building what could have a 2-month class project in 24 hours and with fewer people
What we learned
1) How to use arrays and indexes to loop sprites to create an animated effect. 2) Using math and physics in programming
