Inspiration

The problems in the healthcare industry regarding unverifiable prescriptions, licenses, certifications and not having ownership of critical patient data inspired me to develop this application.

What it does

1- Doctors and Patients have full ownership of data using DWNs. 2- Sharing of Patient Data using Protocols. 3- Sharing of Prescriptions with Patients using Protocols.

How we built it

NextJS, Web5, Mantine, NodeJS, DWNs, Web 5 Protocols

  • Simplifying patient onboarding using QR Codes.
  • Using DWNs for managing doctor and patient data while having full ownership.

What's next for MedWeb5

Some of the features that can be added in the future:

  • Verifiable Prescriptions Generation using VCs.
  • Allowing Patients to choose which data to share with the doctors and clinics.
  • Verifiable Doctor Certificates and Licenses Generation using VCs
  • Pharmaceutical store features for prescription scanning and validation, generation of verifiable receipts
