Inspiration
I thought it would be cool if there was a website or app for people with really pretentious music tastes to find people with equally pretentious music taste.
What it does
It connects your Spotify data using the API, and reads your data showcasing your top genres, artists, and songs. With this you can add people who's music you like, and message them (originally was gonna have a texting service but with time constraints it showcases their email for you to message)
How we built it
Databases, lots of backend, and frontend to get it all to work
Challenges we ran into
Storing the users Spotify ID and data into a cookie... big struggle
