Inspiration
I was first getting into crypto currency and I wanted a way to make a some without the need for a rig. This was about the same time Doge Coin was taking off so I started with it.
How it works
Runs the CPU and GPU mining clients based upon what configuration it can detect.
Challenges I ran into
The biggest challenge was getting a proper auto updater working. I found an open source library, but it needed some fixing to get things rolling properly. I also needed a way for the client to display wallet stats. I did with a simple backend PHP service.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The fact I was able to get people to use it. I had about 12 users on it at its peak.
